Hello & welcome!


I am an accredited teacher and hold membership with Meditation Association of Australia & International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

My first introduction to meditation was in May of 2002 when I attended my first yoga class. It was approximately 10 years later that I dared venture into my first retreat that incorporated yoga & long periods of sitting meditation. The meditation component had great impact on me and my ability to be with the grief I was going through at that time. From there I cultivated a regular nightly practice of Yoga Nidra.  My interest in meditation grew as did the need for it in my everyday life.  After exploring  many types of meditation, I found my preference, in the secular practice of Mindfulness and have developed regular practices using various techniques.

After completing my meditation teacher training in 2018 with the Yoga & Integrative Medicine Institute, I then went on to do an 8-week course as a participant in MBSR with Openground and knew this was the style of meditation I wanted to teach. I completed additional intensive training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Mindfulness Training Institute of Australasia. I enjoy completely immersing myself in ongoing professional development and look forward to going back 'home' to the tranquil retreats at Upper Brookfield with the incredible team of BIYOME.

Meditation has become an incredibly important part of my daily life, more so than ever just this year, hence the birth of Mandala Meditation. It has assisted me in cultivating a more compassionate and accepting way of being, lowered my reactivity and enabled me to manage chronic anxiety and panic attacks.

I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and holding space for others to learn and implement the life changing skills Mindfulness Meditation has to offer.
